What had surprised him so much?
What was that again? “Boris Johnson has a plan to deal once and for all with endless Tube strikes…” Has he lost it? Is it down the back of a City Hall sofa? Does he need help finding it?
Still, at least we can vote out mayors who aren’t living up to their promises – something we can’t do with certain train firms…
UPDATE Monday 23:10 – Boris Watch highlights ASLEF’s denial that a 29 April strike was even on the cards, and a bizarre video which makes the whole thing even more baffling.
